Kellie Martin is an American actress in television, film and stage performer. Her most notable role is Christy Huddleston (Christy) as part of the period show Christy"; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On); and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Additionally, she's known as the star of the Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin's acting career started at age seven when her aunt, the former nanny who took care for the children of Michael Landon, helped secure an appearance as a guest in 1982's 'Father Murphy.' Following her graduation from Yale University in 1982, Martin decided to pursue her acting career more seriously. Her roles were significant on TV as well as the big screen. Martin, who is an actor as well as an accomplished dancer and photographer, has been in the industry for over twenty years. The mother of two daughters Martin is the Lupus spokesperson and spreads awareness of the disease each day following the passing of her sister, who was age 19.
